At ARC Foundation, collaboration is one of our core values. We believe bringing together diverse perspectives expands capacity and fosters a sense of community, and ultimately leads to better outcomes. Simply put, it’s more equitable when we work together.

In today’s ever-changing educational landscape, it is crucial that we come together to foster an environment where students can feel not just accepted, but celebrated for who they are. Collaboration allows us to tap into the collective knowledge and resources of our community, bringing diverse perspectives and experiences to the table.

When educators, parents, and community members work together, we can break down barriers, challenge stereotypes, and create lasting change. It is through this collaborative approach, that SOGI 123 was created by ARC Foundation alongside numerous educators and education organizations; as well as regional, national, and international 2SLGBTQ+ community groups. We believe that by working together as a community, we can create safer and more inclusive spaces for all students to thrive.

With students and families at the centre of these efforts, we are committed to empowering educators to make a difference. When we collaborate, we are able to share tried and tested practices, learn from one another, and build a network of support. Together, we can create a ripple effect that extends beyond individual classrooms and schools, transforming the educational experience for students of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
