How are SOGI 123 resources made?

Our Answer:

All teaching resources available through SOGI 123 have been created with educators, for educators, to ensure that they are age appropriate and aligned to the regional curriculum. For example, for Kindergarten/Grade 1 we have ‘What is a Family?’ which explores the diverse types of families that exist in society. Educators have expressed a need for more SOGI-inclusive resources and training to ensure all students feel confident being themselves. SOGI 123 is simply one more way that educators can find the resources they need and learn from each other.
